Syd hails from Atlanta, Georgia and was raised primarily in the South.  Syd began acting in theatre at the age of twelve, playing the lead in "Cinderella," and realized acting was her passion.  Before relocating to California, Syd pursued modeling, singing and competition cheerleading, winning a National Cheerleading Championship title on ESPN while cheering for the GA Allstars.

After graduating early from high school, Syd relocated to Los Angeles with her family where she attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.  Her post college success have included a pilot for Comedy Central called "DwayneBook," a Sci-Fi film, "Super Shark," and a comedy skit for the "Jay Leno Show" portraying, Bristol Palin. Syd also made her Los Angeles stage debut in "Vampire Masquerade."  In addition, she was also given the opportunity to choreograph the "Resurrection Dance" sequence with her co-star in "Vampire Masquerade."

Syd is very thankful to have received training from talented acting coaches, which include Ivanna Chubbuck, Vincent Chase, Alice Thor and The Groundlings.  Syd continues to study at the Margie Haber Studio, Second City and the Scott Sedita Studio, while auditioning.  Her main focus is on comedy and aspires to be on a sitcom.
